Turan Asgarova
Turan Asgarova is SCA’s Coach Leader and a chess coach from Azerbaijan. She began playing at the age of five and went on to represent her country at European championships and international tournaments. Her results include winning Category B at the 2015 Abu Dhabi International Chess Tournament and three women’s championship titles in Baku. She has participated in four European championships.
Her teaching background includes coaching young players in professional chess schools in Baku and working with students of different ages and abilities. She has also helped organize She Leads, She Wins, connecting girls from SCA Chess Academy and Caissa Hong Kong Chess Club through online competition.
