ISOCL 2026–27
Fair play & sportsmanship
Every player should have a fair chance to compete. Play independently and treat opponents, teammates and organisers with respect.
During a game
- Choose every move yourself. Do not use chess engines, analysis boards, opening books, databases or advice from another person.
- Parents and coaches may help with technical access, but must not suggest moves or analyse an ongoing game with the player.
- Do not share your account or let someone else play for you.
- Report concerns privately to SCA. Avoid public accusations against another player.
Review & supervision
SCA may review games and request additional supervision where necessary. Lichess applies its own fair play rules and account decisions. Suspected misconduct is not by itself a confirmed violation. Follow Lichess’s process for any account appeal.
Qualifiers do not require webcams. Final Six players must follow the camera and supervision instructions sent by the organiser.
