黄金周锦标赛2021

About

SCA’s Summer Grand Prix is a unique series of 8 tournaments, in both Puxi and Pudong. Each tournament is a separate event and players will compete for certificates and rating points, but there is even a bigger prize – qualification to the prestigious Grand Final Tournament! The top 8 players from each side of the city will secure their spots.

Format

  • Rapid Chess time control (approximately  20 minutes maximum per game)
  • Players’ SCA rating will be adjusted by their performance in each tournament
  • The number of rounds and time control will be decided based on the registered participants for each tournament
  • Open to all kids under 16 years old
  • Each tournament is a separate competition but players also collect Grand Prix points to qualify for the Grand Final Tournament.
  • Grand Prix points are equal to the player’s score in each tournament
  • The more tournaments players play the higher chance they have to qualify for the Grand Final, but there is no minimum requirement and maximum limit
  • There need to be a minimum of 4 players to run the tournament. If there is less than 4 participants, an SCA Coach will run a practice session instead and the attendees will collect 2 Grand Prix points each.
