56 competitors and their families packed out Britannica International School’s dinning hall for SCA’s 2016 Christmas Tournament.
A total of 7 rounds were played throughout the course of the day.
Prizes were awarded for the top 4 individuals overall, and the top 3 in age brackets under 10, 8 and 6 years old. The top 4 competitors from each school represented the school’s teams.
This year’s Christmas tournament was won by Joydeep Laha for a second year running. 2nd place Leon Shi (below left) is just 7 years old!

The school team competition was narrowly won by Dulwich, who just pipped SAS-Puxi to 1st place, closely followed by YK PAO. Although the top 2 teams scored the same number of points, the top player from Dulwich finished higher and so determining the result.
