After 8 weeks of intense competition in the qualifying tournaments, the top 8 players from Pudong and Puxi qualified for the Grand Final that took place last Sunday 15 August at SCA’s Hongqiao Centre.

Special shout out to Adam Yue, 6 years old, who participated in all 8 qualifying tournaments and earned his spot in the final!

We are also happy to announce that Alex Chorlton and Michael Jiang earned their first norms for the Chess Ambassador (CA) title, and Warren Pak and Xiaohan Lu earned their first norms for the Chess Conqueror (CC) title.
