SCA’s Spring Season Grand Prix is a series of Rapid Chess online tournaments that kids can participate every Sunday throughout Spring Season of small group classes at SCA Chess Academy.
The Grand Prix is scheduled for 24 tournaments in total, with the first one on 5th January and the last one on 14th June, every Sunday without an exception. It’s open to all kids under 15 years old, not only SCA’s students.
Players collect Grand Prix points from each tournament they participate in. The winner of each tournament gets 10 points, then the first runner-up 9 points and so on. For the 10th place and after, everyone gets 1 point for participation. The player with the most Grand Prix points after 24 tournaments will be declared SCA’s Spring Season Grand Prix Champion.

Time: Sundays, 6:30 PM (GMT+8)

Time control: 8 min for entire game + 2 seconds increment after each move
Estimated duration: 2 hours
How to join?
You can join the Grand Prix any time before 14th June, but the more tournaments you participate in, the higher chances for final glory.
By participating in any of the Sunday tournaments, you will automatically join SCA’s Spring Season Grand Prix, there is nothing else you need to do.
